Photography - Columbia, TN

Columbia is a small town located south of Nashville, just off Interstate 65. It's best known as the home of former President James K. Polk, and the annual Mule Day celebration. On April 7, 2002, I paid a visit to this small town and snapped these photos. Enjoy!

Welcome to Columbia!

The six shots below were taken at the James K. Polk home:

St. Peter's Episcopal Church, located next to the Polk home.

Another church across the street.

A random, though nice house in Columbia.

Maury County Courthouse, in the Columbia town square.

A shot of the town square in Columbia.

Another shot of the town square.

Shots of the ancient Greenwood Cemetery.

A squirrel poses at the Polk Home.
